Savannah Turns Two!

On July 1st, our Savannah turned TWO years old!!!  It is so hard to believe that Brent and I have a two year old!  We are so proud of our sweet pea and are absolutely LOVING this stage of her life.  Each day she learns something new and keeps us laughing.  :)

This year we spent Savannah's birthday in Shreveport.  We started out our day Skyping/FaceTimeing with Brent in Saudi.  :)  She LOVES seeing her Daddy and asks every day where he is. We spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon playing at the house, hanging out, and running a few errands.

Yes, Savannah definitely got into Scarlet's bed right after she woke up from her nap.  LOL!
FYI-  My dad made this bed for Scarlet when we lived in Houston.  Isn't it pretty?!

The big highlight of her day was later that evening.  My parents found a great blow-up kids pool for her to play in and set it up for her.  Our sweet friends the Armstrong family came over and joined us for dinner and a little pool time fun.  Luke and Savannah had a fantastic time breaking in the pool!

After the pool we came inside and ate dinner and enjoyed CAKE!  Some of you may remember that Savannah wasn't a fan of cake for her first birthday, but let me tell you THAT HAS CHANGED!  The girl LOVES cake now!  She now knows the word cake and now often asks, "Eat Cake?" to me in the evenings after dinner.  LOL!

After dinner Savannah opened some presents from her friends and family!  She was very excited to have some wonderful new toys to play with.  :)

Sweet Savannah had a fanastic day and was worn out by the end of it!  We are so thankful for our sweet girl and can't wait to see how she changes and grows over the next year!  Happy birthday precious Savannah!
