When we moved Savannah into her big girl bed, I decided to rearrange and "redecorate" her room. I still kept the same colors and curtains, but added new bedding and some nice new elements. I am proud of the way it turned out and she really likes it! A special thanks to Rhonda Ricther for making the paper pom-poms!

Olivia Update- 32 Weeks and Counting
Today I am 32 weeks pregnant with little Olivia! One week ago I had another doctor's appointment and am so happy to report that Olivia is looking amazing! Little girl is a bit on the pudgy side according to the doctor's estimates. She is weighing in at four and a half pounds already (Savannah didn't hit that weight until about 35 weeks). If she keeps gaining at this rate, at 40 weeks she'll be nine pounds!!
We were able to get some great shots of her little face and throughout the entire ultrasound she puckered her little lips and was sucking with her lips. It was precious!
I have one final doctor's appointment here in Saudi before I leave. I will pick up my medical records and get the final permission to travel from my doctor. Please be praying for everything to go smoothly next Monday and for all of the necessary paperwork to be completed and ready for me to pick up. :)

Photo Dump
Since I've started blogging I try to take lots of pictures documenting our adventures; however, when it comes time to sit down and categorizes pictures into blog posts, I often have cute pictures that don't necessarily fit into a specific event. These pictures are often just snapped on the fly when I see Savannah doing something funny or precious. I decided that a "photo dump" would be a good way to still blog with these pictures. Enjoy and prepare yourself for an onslaught of picture cuteness!
One day I was doing laundry and Savannah found one of Brent's shirts that I had just finished drying but had not hung up yet. For some reason she thought it would be lots of fun to wear it and asked me to help her put it on. Sweet pea wore Daddy's shirt for two hours and thought it was the funniest thing! I had a blast watching her wear it too!

As I've blogged about before, Savannah is now sleeping in a big girl bed! She doesn't like to be covered up with blankets or anything so she just sleeps on top of her flat sheet. She also doesn't like laying on pillows yet, but I keep them in her bed to help prevent her from hitting her head on the headboard. The other day during her nap, I checked on her using the video monitor and this is what I found. She had somehow fallen asleep with her pillow on top of her. LOL!
One night before her bedtime, Brent had to spend some time doing work on his laptop at the table. He was eating some veggies for a snack, and Savannah decided she wanted to sit at the table with him and eat veggies too. :) She had just finished her bath.
Saudi has had a sudden outbreak of these very LARGE beetles. For the last 6 weeks or so they have been everywhere. At some point in time Savannah started noticing them and has been fascinated by the "big bugs" as she affectionately likes to call them. Whenever we go outside she says "big bug" and wants to look for one. I finally caught them on camera this week. :)
Here are my Mother's Day flowers from my honey and my sweet girl!
Here are a few pictures of Brent and Savannah being silly together on Father's Day.
Savannah and Jacob patting the coffee table with their hands and making each other laugh.
Savannah LOVES stickers. My mom sent her an Easter card with some rabbit stickers in it and Savannah had fun putting them on her outfit a few weeks ago. :)
We had the pleasure of going over to our friend's the McGuires house a few weeks ago for dinner. Savannah LOVES playing with their son Aden. On this occasion, these two had fun playing with baby Avery's toys as well. :)
Speaking of Aden, a few weeks ago, we watched him for a couple of hours on a Thursday (like Saturday). He and Savannah had a blast playing with the water table and blow up pool. :)
Sometimes Aden can be a little shy when he comes over, and I have to be sneaky when I take his picture. I didn't do a good job of hiding what I was doing this time and he decided to hide from me. Savannah thought his reaction was extremely funny, and decided to do the same thing. LOL!
Since the weather has gotten warmer we have spent lots of time outside playing in the water so Savannah associates her swimsuit with water fun! One day, she pulled it out of the laundry basket after I had washed it, tried to put it on, and kept saying "wader." She was ready to go!
Speaking of spending time outside, aren't you jealous of the wonderful weather we've been having. Note: Make sure you look at the forecasts and the time of day these pictures were taken.

Twinkle, twinkle little star. Do you know how old you are?
On Thursday, June 13th, we celebrated Savannah's second birthday with a party here in Saudi. Yes, it's about three weeks early, but we wanted to celebrate with all of her friends before everyone leaves for summer vacation. Our sweet pea absolutely loves singing and dancing (remember the Play School Graduation?). For the last six months or so her favorite song has been "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" so I decided that would be a great theme for her birthday party! I created all of the decorations with my handy dandy Silhouette machine and voila, it turned out sooo cute!
The wreath Amber created for the party.

The Star Dust Play Dough Party Favors
The cake I made myself! It's not the prettiest thing, but it took a lot of work!
I set up different stations with a few activities to keep the kids busy during the party. We had the toys, a play dough table, and a coloring table.
I started hanging decorations the day before, but we set up most things downstairs in living area the day of Savannah's party while she was taking a nap. When Savannah woke up, came downstairs, and saw all of the starry goodness, she was absolutely mesmerized!

After some hugs from Daddy, we were able to get a few pictures of us with Savannah.
Best shot we got. LOL! She was ready to play!
Once our guests started arriving, the fun kicked into high gear!! The kids had a blast hanging out together and playing, and the parents enjoyed some good food and fellowship. It was so much fun to watch Savannah enjoy her party!
What do you mean I'm too big for this thing?
Trying to reach for the stars!
It was soon time to open presents! Savannah has become quite the skilled present opener and was so excited to see all of her goodies! We helped her get the paper started, but she really enjoyed ripping them open. :)
We saved our present to her for last- her very own play kitchen. Needless to say it has been a hit- with ALL of the kids!
Next we cut the cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to our sweet girl! Ironically for someone who loves music and singing, she seemed a little startled when everyone looked at her and started singing all together, but she enjoyed trying to blow out her candle.
I'm actually holding her and blocking her from view.
After finishing the birthday festivities, we invited everyone to stay for dinner (red beans and rice) and enjoy some more hanging out!
The Sperlings
The Feimsters
The Jones
The adults and the kids alike had a FANTASTIC time hanging out! As the evening began to wind down, we got all the kids together on the couch inside for a group picture.

It was truly a fantastic night of celebrating our Savannah's birth and the friendships that have turned into a second family! We love you Savannah and cannot wait for another year of fun! You truly are our little twinkling star!
