Smocking!

Back in October, Savannah was wearing a beautiful smocked pumpkin dress that my mom had gotten her.  One of my sweet friends, Sandy, noticed her dress and mentioned that she knew how to smock and would be willing to teach me.  Always happy to learn a new crafting/sewing skill, I took her up on her offer and began learning the art.

Our project was a Christmas ornament and we started it at the beginning of November.  After 5 weeks, I finally finished!  Yes, I know that's a long time, but I have two kids people!
