Florence, Italy

Our second stop on the cruise was Florence, Italy; and we loved every bit of it!  We started our day early and took the train into Florence.  Our main activity that day was going to see the Duomo, an old Catholic cathedral.  We bought a tour to go up on the terraces of the cathedral and saw the most stunning views of Florence.  It was gorgeous, but also a bit scary holding Savannah and being that high!

We spent the rest of the day walking up and down the streets of Florence and exploring all there was to see.  At the end of it, Brent declared that we HAD to come back to Florence and that it was one of his most favorite cities we've been to.  We both wish we'd had the opportunity to spend more time in Florence, and hopefully we will in the future.  :)

We eventually got back on the train and made our way back to the boat.  Here are some fun shots of Savy during the ride.  :)

Next stop- Rome, Italy!  When we got back to the boat we found this waiting for us....
