Exploring Koh Samui Part 2

Our next day around the island led us to many different sites on the island.  We started out by stopping at a large memorial burial temple.

One of the Buddhist monks

Then we headed to the "Magic Gardens."  It was a huge gorgeous garden that was designed many years ago to reflect an ancient Thai jungle.  BEAUTIFUL!

The gorgeous stairway down to the garden.

Isn't it gorgeous?

We grabbed lunch at a beachside restaurant.  We enjoyed watching the boats go by and taking in the view.

The restaurant where we ate.
Savy playing in the sand.

On the way to our next stop, Savannah feel asleep in the car, so Brent got out to see the island's famous "Big Buddha" by himself while I stayed in the car with Savy.  :)

Our last sites of the day were a Buddhist temple and two shrines that were all right next to each other.  Savannah was still asleep so this time Brent stayed in the car and I snapped a few quick pictures.

The outside of the temple.
Random group of chickens that were running all over the place.
Inside the temple.
Murals inside the temple.

Overall, we loved galavanting around the island of Koh Samui!  IT WAS WONDERFUL!
